Welcome new residents - guided walk

New to the area or new to bushwalking? Join us for a beginner-friendly guided walk.

Discover the beauty of Ku-ring-gai at an easy, relaxed pace. Led by an experienced guide, this short walk is a safe and welcoming way to explore local bushland, build confidence outdoors, and connect with other members of our community.

The leisurely stroll will begin at the Howson Oval car park and continue through Twin Creeks Reserve, stopping along the way to discuss the unique flora and fauna of the area. The paths are well maintained, no steep sections, suitable for all levels of fitness.

Bring: Drinking water, weatherproof jacket and sunscreen.

Wear: outdoor walking clothes, sturdy closed toe shoes, hat and sunglasses.

This event will go ahead in light rain conditions. In the event of extreme weather, the walk will be cancelled and registered walkers notified 24 hours prior via email.
