· About
An aunty with too much free time.
Little Rascal was built by Bec Wade — an aunty who watched her sister spend every school holiday frantically hunting across council websites, Facebook groups, and random event pages just to find something to do with the kids.
Every time. Fourteen tabs open. Half of them out of date.
Bec had the time, the stubbornness, and just enough technical knowledge to do something about it. So she built a scraper, then a calendar, then a whole platform — pulling events daily from Sydney councils, Westfield centres, Bunnings workshops, libraries, and a growing list of providers, so families can find what's on without the tab-switching.
Little Rascal launched in 2026, based in Sydney. It's free to browse and built to stay that way for the things that matter.
What we cover
We currently monitor 11 Sydney councils (Inner West, Cumberland, City of Sydney, Canterbury-Bankstown, Parramatta, Blacktown, Fairfield, Sutherland Shire, and more), plus Westfield shopping centres, Bunnings DIY workshops, and Stockland centres across NSW. Around 4,000 active events at any time, updated daily.
How it works
Our scrapers run daily, pulling event listings from council websites and provider pages. Events are automatically filtered for kids' relevance, geocoded to your suburb, and enriched with age ranges, pricing, and category tags. You get one clean, searchable list instead of fourteen tabs.
