Killara Music - Consort 8 with countertenor Tim Chung

Bringing together an inspiring blend of Renaissance, Baroque and modern recorders, violas da gamba, lute, theorbo, voice and percussion, Consort 8 is the only ensemble of its kind in Sydney. Based at the beautifully restored heritage St Paul’s Anglican Church, Burwood, Consort 8 performs sacred and secular music from the 13th century to today, including works by Australian composers. With its rich palette of instruments, the ensemble creates vivid colours and sonorities that illuminate rarely heard repertoire – some never before performed in Sydney.
