Gain a White Card Certification these school holidays!

LEARN ESSENTIAL SKILLS TO WORK IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY This Registered Training Organisation (RTO 41072) and SafeWork NSW approved White Card course provides participants with a nationally recognised White Card (general construction induction card). This allows you to work in the construction industry anywhere in Australia. Your White Card will be issued immediately after completion.

Participants must be aged between 15 - 24 years old.

Course Prerequisites

All attendees will enrol into our system on the day of the course via a QR code the teacher will have with them. To complete this enrolment, all attendees will need to have a USI. Most attendees will likely already have one. If not, they must get one and have it on the day. You can get a USI using this link https://www.usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi

There is no pre-course Learning. Everything is completed face to face at the venue on the day. Below is a downloadable link of the learner guide you will be going through on the day. ArrivingParticipants are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to the course commencement.

ContentHaving a white card is mandatory if you want to work on construction sites in Australia. This course helps you to be ready to work safely in the construction industry.

If the assessor deems you competent, you’ll receive an interim accreditation slip on the same day as your assessment. This slip enables you to start working immediately and serves as temporary proof until your official White Card NSW arrives.

After your assessment, NWCC will notify SafeWork NSW. Your White Card will be mailed to you, usually within 2 to 3 weeks.

NWCC trainers are dedicated to your success. Trainers are available to provide you with additional support. This includes staying back to assist you with any part of the course you find challenging.

What to bring with youAll resources and equipment are provided on the day. ESSENTIAL!!! MUST READ!! You must bring 100 points of original ID. In NSW it is essential you meet the SafeWork NSW ID requirements of 100 points of ID. Read about the ID requirements HERE.

If you have any trouble getting a USI you can contact the USI office on 1300 857 536.All attendees will need to scan a QR code to upload their information onto the NWCC system. Part of this information will include your USI information.CateringCatering will be provided for a morning tea and lunch break.There is a microwave, cold water, coffee, tea and a fridge at the venue.Westfield Miranda can be accessed across the road.ClothingWear comfortable casual clothing. Pants and flat shoes are recommended. All PPE is provided.

Finding us, Parking & TransportThe classroom is located above Chemist Warehouse on the Kingsway. You will see a set of stairs to the left of Chemist Warehouse. As you go up the stairs, we are the first door in front of you on the right. There is limited free all-day parking at the bottom of Central Road & along Parkside Avenue. There is $8.00 all day parking in the "Diggers Carpark" behind the RSL on Penprase Lane. The condition to the $4.00 parking is you must arrive before 9:30am and leave after 2:30pm. This is suitable for all day classes.
