Cabramatta Moon Festival

About this event

Next Moon: Sunday 20 September 2026 Time: 11am - 8pm Location: Cabramatta Town Centre

Cabramatta Moon Festival celebrated its 25th anniversary on Sunday, 28 September 2025.  Last year, we also hosted Australia's first National Lion Dance Competition, which brought together the country's top teams for a fierce and colourful showdown.

Festivities will kick off at 11 am with food and market stalls, amusement rides, free kids activities, and live entertainment into the night, appealing to all ages and interests. Crowd favourites like the pho and mooncake eating competitions will return this year, together with the popular lantern parade led by the Moon Goddess and Archer.

It was the perfect way to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival while soaking up the rich culture and vibrant atmosphere of Cabramatta.

Save the date - the next Cabramatta Moon Festival will take place on Sunday, 20th September 2026.

Funding for this project has been provided by the NSW Government.
