Active Kids: World Environment Day; Children's Riverway Workshop

About this event

Join us for a fun‑filled Children’s Riverway Workshop. Through music, hands‑on activities, creative experiments, and outdoor exploration, Kelly Winnings will guide young eco‑explorers on a journey to understand how healthy rivers support wildlife, communities, and the planet.

Explore how rainwater flows into our rivers and how rubbish can end up in our waterways, learn about oysters and how they filter waterways to keep them clean, and discover how simple everyday choices can help keep our rivers clean and thriving.

Then, use our wonderful Sydney Water to make your own slushie. Bring your own re-useable cup, or grab one on the day, and hop on a bike at the Bike & Blend station—pedal‑powered fun that turns energy into a delicious, refreshing treat.
