Anna's Walk hosted by BEAT Bladder Cancer Australia
About this event
The inaugural Anna’s Walk was held in Mona Vale in 2018, in memory of Northern Beaches resident Anna Lynch who at the age of 45 years passed away from bladder cancer. Today, the walk takes place in all state & territory capital cities across Australia.
In 2026 more than 400 participants are expected in Mona Vale, and over 800 participants are expected nationwide. Anna’s Walk seeks to raise awareness of bladder cancer within the community and brings together patients, survivors, families, health professionals, partner organisations and community members of all ages and backgrounds. We come together on a short family-friendly walk of approximately 3km with morning tea and a sausage sizzle, providing a time for reflection and conversation. Invite friends, family & colleagues to increase awareness and provide support for those touched by bladder cancer. Participation is free, but registration is essential.
