Mums n Bubs - Monday 11:30AM - Ermington CC - T2 2026

Mums n Bubs Fitness delivered by the Active Parramatta Van, has been designed to gradually strengthen and tone your body post-partum. Exercises targeting pelvic floor, abdominals, glutes, legs and upper body are incorporated to return your body back to pre-pregnancy state. Also, enjoy some low to moderate intensity aerobics moves to some great music keeping your heart and lungs healthy. Finally, stretching and mobility is included to reduce tension, giving you a well-rounded exercise session.

Sessions are suitable for mothers of all levels of fitness. A friendly reminder that this is a class for the mothers to work on your own health and wellbeing.

Mums, please bring your own yoga style mat to each session.

PLESASE NOTE: Monday 27th is the ANZAC Day Public Holiday, therefore Term 2 officially starts on Tuesday 28th April and the Monday classes will commence on Monday 4th May.

Important Information

It is our duty of care to ensure you are fit for exercise. When registering for Active Parramatta Van programs you will be asked the following Pre-Exercise Question:

Do you have any known diseases or family history, signs or symptoms of disease, which may place you at higher risk of an adverse event during physical activity/exercise? e.g Diabetes, heart or vascular or thyroid disease, osteoporosis etc?

If you answered YES, You MUST seek exercise clearance from your GP before you are able to participate in classes. Please email your exercise clearance letter to apvan@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au.

Is there an age limit?

Mums with Bubs aged 2 months - 24 months

What should I bring to the event?

Please wear appropriate non-restrictive clothing, enclosed shoes, water bottle, towel and anything instructed by the facilitator. Bring your own yoga style mat. Prams, blankets, comforters, snacks and toys to keep bubs occupied.

Program Cancellations

If your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend, you MUST cancel via Bookable and email apvan@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.auinforming of your cancelation (include your name and class name). The Recreation Programs and Services Team make every effort to ensure advertised events run. However, we reserve the right to alter the program either before or during the class/event and to cancel any program if insufficient enrolments are received. If the Recreation Programs and Services Team cancels a course, you will be informed via your provided email address.

The term has already started. Can I still join?

Enrolments remain open throughout the term, participants may join at any time provided space is available.

Can I register as I go? Casual sessions?

Council does not provide this option; attendance is a term-based package.

I am pregnant, can I still participate?

These sessions has been created for mums postpartum, please register once your bub has been delivered.

I am recovering from an injury. Can I still participate?

It is suggested that you seek medical clearance from your GP or health care professional. Participation is done so at your own risk.

Do classes still run during adverse weather?

Participants will be contacted via email 2-3hrs prior to the event if classes need to be cancelled due to adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances.
